Napoleon comes back to life and visits the USA, Israel and India After his visit to the USA, he tells the president: “If I had your military equipment and training, I wouldn’t have lost the battle of Waterloo!” He goes to the Israel and at the end of his visit, he tells the Israeli PM : “If I had your Mossad and espionage system, I wouldn’t have lost the battle of Waterloo!” He comes to India and, at the airport, before leaving, he tells... the PM: “If I had your press, television and media, no one in the world would have known I lost the battle of Waterloo!” jayasala42
This is very much hitting nail on media. Many sections of media are reporting paid news and there are ghost writers. They also indulge in cover up and tweak news to suit their promoters. I remember the novel by Arthur Hailey “ The Evening News” -1990- here the NES broadaster creates sensational accidents and release the news first before any media men could get at it. The followers believe his channel and print media more than others. We here about prestigious Indian news paper bulk equity changed hands and investors are our friendly-enemy country. The management board now is dominated by foreigners presence and all news vetted by them and articles written to promote their ideologies. News that commands printed in first page are relegated to inner pages surrounded by tender notices and other ads. I tend to agree with statement of the Napoleon on his re-return!
