    hi,
my 1st delivery was Emergency c-section at Bangalore Apollo hospital.
During 9th month internal examination my doc told that i have a small PELVIS & chances of c-section is more.
i was in labour for 6 hrs and later due to Fetal distress proceded to emergency c-section.
We are planing for a 2nd baby ,whether this time also will i have c-section only?
Anyone had Normal delivery with similar expereince.

Harun, were you able to find any more information about this? When doing the pap smear and swab test, even my doc observed that my pelvis is small and that there is a possibility that it would be a C-section.

    Hi !
Ladies who are having height less than 5 feet 2 inches may have small or contracted pelvis. At 37 wks of pregnancy head of baby enters into pelvis in first time moms. When pelvis is small head remains high and does not enter into pelvis. Most of times head is partly in pelvis during labour head goes down.
unless pelvis is very contracted trial of labour can be given.
Cephalopelvic disproportion is term used if head is big for particular pelvis then
    normal delivery is not possible.

Thanks a lot for this! Also when exactly can we know if there is Cephalopelvic disproportion?
