    hi guys,

    i wanna do varalaxmi vratam for the first time as i was married recently ...
    but as i was new to US i dont have any firnds here..:confused: so want to find some friends here so that i can do puja

    so plz IL's can any one here in KansasCity help me with this....plz


    if any one of u are in the same position hope we all can meet and perform puja at temple under the guidence of priest.....

    Hi Sri,

    When you are doing Varalahshmi vratham for the first time, it is better to do it under the supervision of an elderly person like your mom or MIL.

    Good to have some elderly people but at the same they can't come from India to assist you with pooja. So my suggestion is to get tips from your family memebers and
    Google some website for varalakshmi vratham. I know some websites like teluguone.com have vartham videos. It tells you everything step by step and priest will tell the mantras all you have to do is do exactly what he says. Hope this information is helpful.

    thanq fr ur suggestion which was helpful but the thing is that after cmpltn of my puja i have to distribute 5 sets of coconuts n blouse pieces n kumkum. i dont have any frndz to do soo....
