I tried this recipe from one of the bloggers Vineela and thanks Vineela for u’r recipe, it was amazing as I made it on Friday and Sat as well when we had guests coming over for dinner.

Usually I don’t have time to make desserts u know as I am not really fond of and so don’t take any extra interest but u’rs was so easy to make and yet so yummy!!!!

    Ingredients:

    Milk: 2 and ½ cups
    Condensed milk: 1 small can
    Eggs: 3
    Pepper powder
    Cardemom powder

    How to make:

Whisk eggs thoroughly and add milk condensed milk and whisk again for few min. Now put this in a bowl which can go in a pressure cooker and then sprinkle pepper and cardemom powder and take the whistle off and cook in medium heat for 45min and and after its come down to room temp, place it in the fridge for few hours before serving!!!

There is a simple recipe of junnu but with eggs, we can call it as egg junnu.
    8 eggs
    1 litre milk
    1/2 kg jaggery
    elachi & pepper powder
first beat eggs with a hand mixer and then beat with jaggery & milk. take this into a bowl & add elachi & pepper powder. pressure cook it for 2whistles.
    hope u will like it.
    PADMA.

    hi

i have read all wonderful post about junnu, i too love junnu a lot and wanted to try right now when i was reading all this.

Adding egg may give taste like caramel custard, is there any diference between caramel custard and junnu, as the procedure is same using egg.

and also i am from sydney any one know that will i get china gras/agar agar here pls.
