Hi, I just wanted to share what I know about licencing as doctor in USA.First, they have to write USMLE step 1 and 2. Then I think they have to get H1 to do residency in perticular state. First two tests step1&2,they can write in India. But to do residency, they need H1.I think this one is critaical. After completing Residency they must take step 3 exam. Later, finally they should write state board exam in which state they like to practice as doctors. So overall the whole process will take from 5-7 years.I am not a doctor and I saw one my friend's friend writing all these exams. And I came to know these details from her.
