    Hello,
I am new to this forum.. I need a help from people here...

I had my periods on 4th of March and it got over by 6th. I took a blood test as suggested by my Doctor on 8th. I had irregular priods over years. The blood report says that my LH level is slightly higher than FSH.

    My FSH is 9
    My LH is 12.8

Checking the LH:FSH ratio, it 1.36:1. I read that the ideal ratio is 1:1.

Doctor has prescribed me Metformin and asked me continue till i am conceived.

We are planning for a child... Will this harmone level affect it. Am i given correct treatment. Very scared... Please help:bowdown

    Hi Nancy,
Welcome to Indus Ladies & to this forum.
You can find our forum guidelines here..
PCOS is quite normal these days. It can be treated with proper medication, proper food habits & exercises. Check your weight against your height(BMI). If the weight is more than normal, try to reduce it, it will control the effects of PCOS & hormone imbalance. Slowly cycle will return to regularity! All the best.

Its in the normal level Pallavi. Don't worry.

Baby dust to all TTC ladies...
