I’m sewing rhinestones onto a winter cap

The needle has difficulty going though the holes of the rhinestones

Is it because needle is too thick

Or perhaps I made too many loops of thread between the rhinestone and the fabric
I cannot find online help because people glue rhinestones on.

But I cannot glue onto a winter cap which stretches when I wear on head!

    These are the rhinestones

Try with fine needle and single strand or clear and sturdy thread. I think there are special curvy needles are well, check that out.

Ah ha, I was doing double thread. I will try with single thread and see how it goes ….

I tried single thread approach. Also I think some of the rhinestones holes are too thin, so perhaps thin needles will do.

    Thin needles worked.

These holes in rhinestones were super tiny!
