Thanks for the FB. If you need any help or need any queries pertaining to baking please do ask me....i wont mind sharing my follies and triumphs with you....i usually have chunky marmalade and strawberry or any fruit preserve in hand as they are very tasty when used in cake batters....

Hi Raji,

I usually bake all kinds of stuff for DH, my mom and sis and sometimes for all the little ones around the block and i love to experiment with flavours. I love collecting tea varieties too...but rarely drink them as i have strong reactions when i drink tea or coffee....

Thank you my friend. If you have read some of my mom's stuff i think you would know about my baking habit she wrote quite a few things about me...i think the IL knows more about me then even my friends..she even posted my cauliflower muffin recipe for some of the members who were keen on having something different....I love to experiment with flavours....but having a mom who is a wizz in the kitchen we had to try really hard to come upto her standards...we are still at it though....

If you are into making apple cookies then do try to add some fresh rosemary they taste wonderful with apples...though we have to be carefull to add just a bit cause rosemary can be very powerful. It even gives a mild result of happiness when inhaled...i use them as essential oils to freshen my home...just a few drops in a bowl of water and place them in my bedroom and i think it lightens the air and also has a nice fragrance to the place...(also said to be an aid to romance...heehehee)

Thank you dear friend...I learnt how to bake from mom first as she used to bake yummy chocolate cakes for us when we were very young....and then as i grew up she encouraged us in doing things our way...i tried some new recipes just to please her a few years back...one of which is her favourite cauliflower muffins...she went crazy as she was a diabetic and could not eat sweet cakes and muffins this was my way to treat her....She is a wonderful cook and i cannot excel her even today....
