Difference between Anarkali and masakali salwars

Masakali Salwar have a kali piece in the front and back that covers the bust. The Kameez might have the normal cut or be in an umbrella pattern. The sleeves are mostly full arm in these Kameez styles. The sleeves are of net material in these Kameez styles The body of the Kameez may also be in net material with sun crepe lining material. These salwar and Kameez are usually done with contrasting colours which blend tastefully

 

As far as theAnarkali kameez is concerned, it is figure-hugging till the upper torso and below that, it turns into a frock and gets a lot of flare. Anarkali suits usually come in flowing materials like chiffons.The work done on the shirts includes use of sequins, embroideries, embellishments and wide borders. Sometimes, zardozi work is also done on the Anarkali suits. Materials like crepes, georgettes, silks and brocades are used to make such suits.

 

The major difference between anarkali, masakali and mid length is, anarkali will be tight under bust line with under bust dart, masakali will be tight shoulder line with shoulder dark and mid-length kameez will be tight at the waist line with waist dart manipulation.the kali gives more flare like umbrella for all three kameez. Three kameez are famous for full gathered netted sleeves.
