Toffee Bananas TOFFEE BANANAS Ingredients: 4 large sized bananas, (kerala bananas will be the best) 2 egg whites lightly beaten 1 tbsp corn flour 1/2 cup maida 1 tbsp sesame seeds (Til seeds) 5 tbsps sugar oil/ghee for frying Method: Peel bananas. Cut them into 1"long pieces. Roll them lightly in the dry flour. keep aside. Mix rest of the flour with the corn flour and the egg whites, Add the banana pieces and recoat them with the mix, so that it is coated evenly. Deep fry in oil until golden brown. Heat sugar in a pan with 2/3 tbsps of wter, until the sugar dissolves. Adfd a tsp of oil into the syrup till it gets a golden hue. Add the fried banana pieces and the til seeds. Serve on a nice flat dish as a desert. Note: Apples can also be used for this recipe instead of bananas.
Burfi Badam BURFI BADAM Ingredients 250 grams almonds 250 grams sugar 1 cup milk 1/2 tsp cardamom powder Ghee as required, (less than 2 cups) 2 sliver varaks Method: Soak almonds overnight, in water. Grind them to a nice paste with milk in the morning. Add sugar with the ground paste and cook over fire. When it starts getting thicker add the ghee slowly as you keep stirring it. When the mix starts leaving the sides, remove from the fire. Spread in a oiled baking tray or a sheet. It'll be easier to cut into even shapes. Spread the vark on top of that and serve. Note: If you like to add a little more sugar you can do so, as per your taste
French toast FRENCH TOAST Ingredients: 6 slices bread 1 cup milk 1 egg 4 tsps sugar honey to taste Gheeor oil for frying Method: Trim the bread slices and keep aside. Beat the egg, milk and sugar till they are soft and fluffy. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Dip the bread slices in the mixture and shallow fry till they are golden on both sides. Sprinkle honey on top of these toasts and serve hot. Note Bread slices need not soak in the egg mixture. If you want to serve this as a dessert, cut these toasts into quarters, put in siver vark and chopped nuts and serve accompanied with honey.
Mango Ice Cream Recipe Hi all .. One of my frnd made this for me. This mango icecream really tastes yummy.. Ingredients: Equal ratios of Mango pulp,condensed milk, evaporated milk & one 8. oz of cool whip Steps to Prepare:- 1.First blend mango pulp & condensed milk for 10 mins 2.Next add evaporated milk & blend for 5 mins 3.At last add cool whip & blend all together for 10 mins No need to add sugar. if u have Hand mixer then very ..very easy..u can mix it while watching Tv then put whole mixture in Freezer safe dry container (with no water drops)...keep it in freezer overnight next day again blend icecream for 5 to 10 mins set it in container and keep in freezer..after 8 hrs ..yummy..yummy Icecream ready.. Don't use wet hands & see that water is not added while blending.. bcz the water makes ice on the top decorate with pistachios,almond slices, kesar Hope u people will try this and enjoy the Mango Ice Cream. Caramel Surprise CARAMEL SURPRISE Ingredients: 1/2 litre milk 2 eggs 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder 4 tbsp sugar (powdered) 1/2 packet Lemon jelly 6 cherries 2 tbsps caramel syrup Method: Beat the eggs with sugar till it is stiff. Boil the milk, pour it over the neaten eggs and sugar mixture, stirring all the time. Add the nutmeg powder and a pinch of salt. stir well. In the meanwhile prepare the tin. Take a round mould, pour the caramel syrup. Heat the bowl and see that the caramel spreads uniformly around the edges of the tin. Pour the mix into the tin. Steam the mix covered by the butter paper. Takes about 45 minutes . If you put in the oven, within a bowl of hotwater, mostly it gets cooked by half an hour. Cool and then transfer to the refrigerator. Just before serving unmould the pudding in a flat dish. Beat the jelly , chop in the cherries , mix with it and put itin the centre of the pudding. Serve cold.

hi i would like to share very simple sweet recipe which i do when i strongle feel to eat something sweet and want immediately. maida---100gm banana normal---1 sugar--4tbsp or u can take accord to taste milk--as per reqmt cardamom-2 cashew, raisins s u wish mix all the ingredients in mixer except dry fruits batter should be thick like cake batter just of dropping consistency. add chopped dry fruits and deep fry till golden. i luv this shortcut sweet try n tell how about u. bye padma
