Try using a coat of varnish. I think it should fix the colours and also add lustre to the diyas.

I used poster colours and fabric colours for painting on the plate...

 

Orange Tribe and a diya work

Hi

Please see my warli paintings done on left over wood planks, i think it is mdf board.

the orange colour is fabric colour. white is enamel paint. this is my first attempt at warli/varli.

also i have attached a diya painting which i and my sis made for a competition at her office. it won third prize.

Pot and Diya Painting

Hi Fellow Members,

Did some simple painting job on pot and diyas. Here sharing them with you.

Diyas were made for an NGO and in bulk (approx. 500), so not very fancy designs.

Pot was painted on a whim from the leftover color.

Materials used for diyas: Enamel color, No. 00 soft brush.

Hope you like them.
