Hello Laxmi (And Hello My Bossini) Thanks a ton for your kind wishes. Till late afternoon my girls (Indhu and Preethi) did not do anything. At about half past four (just before the Raghukalam started) I was called from my room, saying that somebody had come to see me. And my wife added a warning too, 'come properly dressed.' Cursing the anonymous visitor I ran downstairs to see our drawing room beautifully decorated with colour papers and baloons. (you see to my wife and daughter I am still a spoilt brat, who needs to be pampered with baloons). In the centre was a table and on it stood a chocolate cake. With five candles lit. (Please dont go deep into the mathematics of it) They all said that candles are a symbolic representation. (I will give a clue; the fifth candle was only 90% of the size of the other four; those who guesset it right are in for something special....) Then candle-blowing and cake-cutting happened amidst singing of happy birthday. Because of the festival in Madurai we could not go out to eat as we had planned earlier. regards, sridhar
