Cute little words from a Cutie little Pie - I

Friends, many of you would have guessed it right…Yes!! I’m here to share about the Mazhalai Mozhi of my little one.

Couple of days back, the prestigious Montessori Play School had conducted the convocation ceremony in order to provide certificates for the Pre-KG students. The chief guest was the Vice Chancellor of Anna University “Mannar Jawahar”. Usually, these people will be the ones who graduate the adults in various institutes. Here he graciously accepted the invite of the Principal to graduate the little onesJ.

Like any other function, it was started with the cultural program of the kids – the kiddy’s pop show. The first one was the rhymes. The theme was like this, they have selected 7 groups each consists of 4 kids representing the rainbow colors VIBGYOR. They came one by one and recited the rhymes with lovely actions and formed a circle at last. And then the famous song from album “Made in India” was played and all the kids dance so well…Of course they dance in their own way in spite of the teachers gave them the training for more than a month or so…they are not professional dancers rite…we need to agree to this. But, we love the performances of kids always.

Then it was the individual performances and around eight children portrayed their skills in their solo performances. We had Abdul Kalam, a Prophet, a dance by a little girl for ‘I’m a Barbie girl...’, a magician, Veera Pandiya Katta Bomman and MGR. All did so lovely and I was most attracted towards the kid who performed the Veera Pandiya Katta Bomman. Hope everyone remembers the famous dialogue of him against Jackson. To add spice, I’m giving it here (not exactly the lines…):

நான் தான் வீர பாண்டிய கட்டபொம்மன்... (I’m Veera Pandiya Katta Bomman)

நீ என்னுடன் வயலுக்கு வந்தாயா? (Did you come along with me to the land?)

நாட்டு நட்டாயா? களை பறித்தாயா? (Have you worked in the land?)

அல்லது ...
என் குல பெண்களுக்கு மஞ்சள் அரைத்துக்கொடுத்தாயா? (Or did you worked to get turmeric to my ladies?)

மாமனா? மச்சானா? (Are you my relative?)

மானங்கெட்டவனே... (The one who does not have the self-esteem)

உனக்கேன் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் வட்டி? (Why should I need to give you the tax?).

The little one who had spoken this dialogue got a great applause from the crowd and still I can hear those words in a childish way.

And then we had the graduation ceremony and we came home.

Yesterday, I was early to home and got some time to play with my little one. Since he speaks very well, I got a weird thinking of teaching my kid the same dialogue. We were playing in the terrace and I called him. I told him will you repeat what I say. He said “Yes”.

So I started with the first line…and completed the whole dialogue wanting him to listen for couple of times. Then he repeated so clearly and I was flying in joy. After some time I took him down to hall. Since it as summer vacation, my SIL was at home and her children too.

She asked my kid to say rhymes and he got so enthu and told one by one with cute actions and everyone loved it. As and when he completed one, he turned to me and asked “what next?” and I told the rhymes name one by one.

Suddenly I thought of asking him to tell the dialogue that I taught him. When I asked, he said yes with more enthu and was looking everyone with pride in my face.

He started like this…that’s it…everyone burst out with loud laugh…

Do you wanna know what he said…here it is…

“நான் தான் விழுந்து வாரிய கெட்ட பொம்மன்...” (I’m fallen down bad bomman…)…

Hope you too had a big laugh on seeing the above line….

Likewise he speaks lots of words which are so funny and lovely in his childish way J
