    Hi all

I tried making curd with green chillies, i added half piece of chilli as mentioned by TDU and kept on the table. It didnt turn out into curd, it was the same milk with chilli flavour!!!!!!!!!!

Sanravi, Why did you keep the milk on the table? Keep it in the microwave oven or in the regular oven to keep it warm and undisturbed. try itsriniketan

    Hi All,

I have made curd using Dannon Curd and it tastes fine.

I used Schepps 2% milk & Dannon Nonfat yogurt plain.

Boil the milk and when it is warm add a teaspoon of curd in the milk and keep it in a warm place. I kept it in my kitchen cabinet.

On the first day it comes out creamy (not good)

Again take a small sample from the creamy curd and put it again in the milk.

Likewise if u do it for 4-5 days it comes out fine.

I followed this procedure for a week & now I have good curd.

The most important thing for the curd is of course the curd culture. Also do it in a small cup (as I dont want u to waste lot of milk) and once u get good curd i.e after 5-6 days u can do it in a big vessel.

    hope it helps.

    :2thumbsup: Leo
