    Hi Rama,

I worked the entire bag using the woollen hook. So what I mean is at this point take the woollen hook off the yarn. Insert the pearl on the steel hook then draw the yarn through the pearl on the steel hook. Once the yarn passes thru the pearl remove the steel hook and use the woollen hook. The reason for the switch in hooks is beacoz the steel hook is sharp and spoils the silk yarn but the woollen hook does not go thru the pearl. Try it actually and you will work out yr own method. Hope it is clear now

    hi jayashree:

i liked your bags. they look very pretty. I made a bag (similar to the one you made using beads) without beads. This was very long ago. recently i made small purses with beads. i had to string the beads because the hole was to small to put in the steel crochet hook. i have to see if i can find beads with bigger hole. i like your technique. it sound easier.

do you have the pattern for the 3rd purse, the one with bamboo handles.if you do, i would like to try it out.

    regards,
    hema :cheers

    Hi Hema,

Thanks so much. Yes I am in love with the last bag myself. Can you read patterns from graphs. If yes , then I will send it to you. I did the bag using herringbone half double crochet.
