Hi Sudha Mam!
At the outset a personal Happy New Year Wishes to u!
Kudos to Chittappa for his wonderful creations.
So is he the person behind your taste and creativity for crafts or these are your inborn talents? What ever it be, best wishes to both of you. I really love those creations of chittappa. May be he could conduct some workshop / demo on Kolu eve for people like me who have zero knowledge on craft making.
You have so thoughtfully introduced him to us in this forum.

Dear Sudha

kudos to your chithappa for his meticulous work of art! It requires abundant patience to be able to make and store such work. I have seen puzzle pieces to create buildings and monuments and even they take a long time to put together. So I can imagine the creativity behind all these works.

Chittappa is my DH's father's brother. In fact both of them have same name....

Thanks a lot Malliga.

My husband takes his chittappa's genes in his interest to crafts.

Chittappa from the age of 70 started all this after his retirement with just waste/scraps and he always says he buys only the paints and the glue otherwise chitti makes the maida glue and he has created all these beauties with them.

Wow, those are lovely and his patience and his interest in crafts all these year is simply astonishing!!! Its so wonderful to have some like like your Chittappa to pass on such lovely skills and keep sakes... Those are to be treasured forever!!! :bowdown
