    Dear maddie,

mystery solved!!!! I did not find any difficulty in doing the work but I think the work was slightly big in size and I think the repetitive movement of my arm for a very long time caused the tendonitis. Would love to start again but with a smaller project.

    regards,
    shobie

    Dear Maddie,
    Those works are excellent.
My Sister did this work long back.
    It was a huge peacock.
This work is interesting and needs lot of patience in doing it.
Keep doing and dont forget to post them here.

    Hi...
Wow its really a nice piece. The effect would have been different if you had done using Anti rust paint. To get a lighter shade in anti rust paint you just have to mix the paint with kerosene. Also the background you don't have to fully punch. It saves a lot of time and effort.

    Regards
    Maddie

    Hi Roshni
To avoid bending at the time of embossing the sheet keep a blanket or cushion and place the reverse side of the picture on it and then emboss the picture using the embossing tools. To get a neat outliner you should use 000 brush and with lot of patience give a neat and thin outline. At the time of sketching the design you have to stick the trace of the design to the sheet and by applying force draw over the trace so that the impression comes out on the metal sheet prominently. You use an used ball point pen as the tool. Don't use lot of pressure you might end up punching holes in the sheet while tracing. ( Dont use a carbon paper to trace the design)
Yes you can use glass to cover the embossed painting.
You have to melt the tar and pour in on the reverse side of the sheet, if the tar is already melted then there is no need for this procedure. Wherever u have the embossing, you need to pour tar and let it cool down, so that the surface becomes hard and the embossed part will remain embossed forever.Don't just spread tar all over the sheet. Also pour the tar before punching the background. Do it once you have completed embossing.

Hope I have been of some help.
    Regards
    Maddie
