The American Numismatic Association offers a 2 year Diploma Course in Numismatics.
The course can be done either through regular or correspondence mode.
The subject include grading coins, detecting counterfeit and altered coins, modern minting process and errors & grading unused coins.
Students can opt to take correspondence courses or regular courses or a combination of both.
the course can be completed in any order.


In India many universities offer Numismatics study along with archeology courses.

The programme would be conducted inthe Institutes' Bausch & Lomb School of Optometry(BLSO) in Hyderabad.

It doesn't offer any degree program but offers PhD, MPhil, M.Sc.
students of Applied Botany,microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, geoinformatics, and bioinformatics from Mangalore University, Univ of Calicut, Kannur Univ, Kerala Agri Univ, Nagarjuna Univ of Biosciences etc., can do their projects at IISR.

IISR also provides facilities to M.Sc., M.Phil students of above subjects to carryout projects of six months duration.
They can take up these projects From Jan-June and July-Dec by enrolling & paying the fees.

They also provide short term Summer Traing camps for Biotechnology & related course students.
