Your torture is firsthand, and very experiential. A friend's torture is only hearsay. And you contend that her happiness at the death of her alleged torturer is worse than yours ? OK.. Have it your way. :confounded:

We all have our different shades in character. The ones we show our evil side have all the rights to smile and do a zig when we pass away. The ones we show our kinder side can shed a few tears. Our shades will reflect on the number of tears and smiles .

I really do not understand the extra respect we give to the dead .The ones who suffer should not be make to feel guilty for being relieved. As long as they are not literally dancing on the grave to upset the tears party.

Reminded me of this Holly Golightly song!
Her songs could be the signature track for IL.:wink1:

    Wherever you were
    When I needed a friend
    Wherever you were
When it looked like the end

Well, you can go there now
Yeah, you can go there now
    Because I don't need
I don't need you no how

    Wherever you were
    When the tears wouldn't dry
    Wherever you were
When my friends stopped coming by

Well, you can go there now
Yeah, you can go there now
    Because I don't need
I don't need you no how

    Wherever you were
    When I needed a friend
    My wherever you were
When it looked like the end

Well, you can go there now
Yeah, you can go there now
    Because I don't need
I don't need you no how.

Well mine MIL is also old around 65 years with diabetes and had a previous counter with mild heart attack and I know for sure when she dies my DH will cry:crybaby2::crybaby2: like a small baby and even though she nags to me with all the stuff but still I will feel the void in the house as she keeps the two story livley with just her presence in the house
