Correspondence Courses: is it valued or not?

    hai,
    i have studied upto 12th in school, after i finished there is no chance in college b'coz of family situation ,and then i continue my studies through correspondence (annamalai university,b,com)after i finished bcom i have married ,after marriage i have interested to study MBA, this is also studied through correspondence(alagappa university) ,my mark is average only my husband is telling this cerficate is not valued for jo b so u cant do, b'coz this two university is not popular not like other university ,through by going college certificate is valued,next reason ur average mark so there is no chance for job in dubai,is is true or not , pls tell me.

    Hi,

    Correspondence course has its own value... Both the Universities you have referred has some market value...

    In practical situation, more than the college the application of whatever you studied into practical is more valued... So, if you are confident on the subject, you can definitely get a chance...

    Dear Jasi,
    I too did my BCom from Annamalai University through correspondence. After that I did my MBA in regular college at MCC(Madras Christian College) and again my masters in Human Resource is from Annamalai University again correpondence. I do get job offers for what I have done. So dont worry, the universities you have studied are well recognised. Many companies to my knowledge didnot see your marks for administrative posts but they consider your experience a lot.
