All is well that ends well

Alex was quite tensed and wandering in the corridor outside the operation theatre. He could hear his wife screaming and crying out in pain. He couldn’t stop crying. No one was around either to console him. Slowly he was carried with good old memories he has shared with his wife before marriage, tough time they had convincing their parents.

His parents gave him tough time, it took so much effort from Alex and his love Swathi to make them accept her. Swathi’s parents are little hesitant in the beginning but very much impressed with Swathi’s choice and they like Alex for what he is.

They had a simple church wedding. Swathi was dressed in long white frock while Alex was dressed in grey color suit. Alex was dumbstruck seeing Swathi in wedding frock, so as she. It was overwhelming moment to everyone out there. They exchanged rings and now officially declared as wife and husband.

He came back to senses when he heard babies crying, he then rushed into operation theatre wiping his tears off the cheek. He first went to his wife to check if she is okay. She was restless yet gave him a smile assuring him she is okay. He kissed her on forehead and went ahead to his twin baby girls. He did hold his girls in both the hands. It was roller coaster ride of emotions for both of them. Her pain faded away the very moment she looked at the baby girls. Nurse gave them bath and dressed them in pink. It is tough for them tto even notice the differences since they are very much alike. Dresses had letter a and b which made them smile for a while.

It was tough to raise twins, feeding them, managing chores everything has been a hassle to Swathi, yet she managed so well. They named them divya and Diya. Divya and Diya are fond of each other. It is tough for anyone to point out the differences; they look so much alike being identical while Swathi doesn’t find it difficult at all. They went to same school and had always been bright in studies. They made friends with shyam from their class.

Diya, Divya and Shyam used to hang out each other. Divya and Diya both loved his company. All the three were brilliant in studies. Swathi and Alex too love Shyam. As days passed on Diya realized she had feelings for this guy. She had been longing to meet him, talk to him all the while. She made many plans to express her love on Valentine’s Day. She wanted to give him surprise visit and went to his very common hangout spot. She was surprised to see him with Divya. He prosed her with bunch of roses, she was all giggling and laid her head on his shoulder. Diya is devastated, all her dreams shattered, she couldn’t stop crying, left the place right then.

Diya couldn’t be same like before with either of them. They too never bothered to strike conversation with her. Divya and Shyam had been formal with and so as she. Shyam’s parents and Divya’s parents agreed and they got married very soon. She couldn’t get over the past, she wanted to leave that place and go away from everyone. She went to her father and told him that she wanted to go for higher studies abroad. She flew away to US after three months. New place, new environment, new friends, everything around helped to get over and be stronger. She topped the university; she met her Mr. right who had been extremely caring and loving. They both had decent job, worked for the same company. They wanted to take their relationship to next level, called their parents and did let them know about their love. They Flew back to India . Diya visited india after five long years.

Swathi and Alex were happy to see Diya back. Diya was surprised to see three year old twins running around. Divya had been busy handling them. Divya gained weight after pregnancy while Diya is looking cute and fit. They both hugged each other. Diya good time with Divya’s sons.

Swathi and Alex were busy booking function hall and other wedding arrangements while Diya and Divya were busy shopping. Finally the big day came, Diya was looking stunning in her wedding attire. Groom siddhu couldn’t take his eyes off from her. They had grand wedding. They had good time with friends, family and relatives after such a long time. They booked return tickets to get back to work. Swathi and Alex too joined the new couple. Finally all is well.

A Father’s Nightmare​

It was a cold and snowy winter morning in Chicago. But Sudhir and Seema were on cloud 9!! Seema had just deliverd identical twin girls and they were beautiful !!


Seema’s parents were there to help them with the pregnancy and delivery. Seema was their only daughter, and the feeling of becoming a grand parent is very special.


Sudhir’s family was elated too. They were yearning to have a girl child for 3 generations. Sudhir was the youngest of 3 brothers and he only had nephews.


When the babies were 6months old they flew to India to meet the other set of grand parents, cousins, uncles and aunts who were very eager to see and hold them. Seema and the girls were given a warm welcome at her in-laws home in India. They had planned a grand naming ceremony for the babies. Sudhir and Seema decided to name them Sia and Sapna.


As days, months and years flew by, Sia and Sapna grew to become beautiful young women. They had a wonderful childhood and shared a beautiful relationship as sisters. Sia was always mature,quiet and compassionate, but Sapna was totally opposite. She was carefree, fun loving and a prankster.


During school days, once Sia was very nervous to go on stage and perform and Sapna substituted on her behalf. While Sia was waiting nervously in a dark corner hoping not to get caught, Sapna took full advantage of looking alike. After the performance Sia got a lot of appreciation from everybody and a cute wink from Sapna.


Sia was a cardiologist and sapna was a very busy fitness trainer. Sudhir and Seema were very proud parents and they were busy planning Sia’s wedding. Sia’s fiancee, Luke, was an orthopedist and they worked at the same hospital and very much in love.


All the preparations were going smoothly, What nobody knew was that destiny had a totally different plan !! The execution of that plan was through Luke’s patient Natasha !!

Natasha was a Tennis coach and was visiting her doctor and friend Luke as she had a fractured bone. She was his classmate in school and had a liking for him since then. Though it was not expressed, she was very upset that he is getting married soon.


She was invited for a pre wedding ritual and there she met Sia and Sapna. She clinged on to Luke all the time. She went to the extent of even barge in between Sia’s and Luke’s dance. Sia ignored it while Sapna thought it was not normal. Sapna immediately went and dragged Natasha out of the dance floor. obviously Natasha was angry and left the event.






That night Natasha was so angry about Luke and Sia. Her obsession about Luke was at all time high. She wanted Sia out of Luke’s life. She immediately dialed Sia’s number with the intention of spoiling the relationship. Sia did not believe her at all. But Natasha was adamant too. She made up stories about his ex-girlfriends and told Sia that she should stop the wedding immediately.


Natasha even said that she has a lot of pictures, mails to prove that Luke was lying to her. She just wanted Sia to come to her place, so that she can get rid of her for good !!


Unfortunately and as it was Sia’s destiny she agreed to come. Natasha had a wicked smile as her initial plan was successful.


Sapna saw Sia going out and asked her, Where was she going at this hour. Sia told her everything and also told her that she is going not because she does not trust Luke but because she want to prove to Natasha that she is correct. Sapna had never seen Sia in so much anger. She didn’t want to send Sia alone. Both of them drove off without telling anybody.


It is 1.30 am and Sudhir woke up with a start. He was shivering, and had started to sweat. He woke up Seema too. She was in deep sleep and now she was scared to see Sudhir like this. “What happened ?” she asked. He just managed to say “Our girls”.


“Our girls ?” Seema asked him with a puzzled face. She said “you always wanted girls right. I know you are sad. But this is our destiny. Don’t worry Sudhi, We will be blessed with a girl next time “


Sudhir was fully awake now. He had a sigh of relief to realize that it was just a bad dream. He and his 24 week pregnant wife Seema were told that they are having a baby boy in today’s ultrasound. He thanked his stars and decided that he will visit the temple tomorrow and ask god not to give him such nightmares again !!
