Yeah Im from Tamil Nadu. For official purpose i'm travelling to conshohocken - Plymouth meeting.

Jus wanted to know few details.

How is the climate in conshy ? Is it necessary to carry thermal wears ?

In hotels , do they provide microwave and stovetops ?

What is the approximate taxi fare from plymouth - conshy ?

What are all the nearby places to visit ?

And also tell me about the phone connection there to take for a month... Preferably SIM ...

Not a problem. I am happy to share whatever I know.

How is the climate in conshy ? Is it necessary to carry thermal wears ?
- Climate its really cold. Summer over and winter is approaching.We get snow here.So be prepared for that. you can check the weather at www.weather.com with and find out the temp in C. Like today the temp is around late 30s & the highest temp is 43F.I dont think you need thermal wear but it depends on how resistent are you towards cold weather. I have been living here for the last 6 yrs and I have never wore thermals.I too brought thermal wear but the first time I tried it was too itchy for me and I never wore them again.

In hotels , do they provide microwave and stovetops ?
- There are some studio rooms which provide microwave & stovetop(electric) .Check the hotel website and select accordingly. If you need any details I am happy to help. There is one Extended Stay america hotel on Germantownpike,plymouth meeting who has studio rooms(with microwave/electric stovetop/some utensils to cook,plates/cups etc).
If you can give your office location I can find out the closest hotel to you which has all these features.

What is the approximate taxi fare from plymouth - conshy ?-This I am not sure as I have never used cab service here.

What are all the nearby places to visit ?- There is a mall on plymouth meeting right across the extended stay hotel -if you are interested in shopping.Phili, NYC,Washington DC, MD all you can visit.

And also tell me about the phone connection there to take for a month... Preferably SIM ...- There are pre-paid services available but I dont know any details abt this.Once you reach here you can call the service providers and get a plan which works for you.

Do i need to carry cooker / Electric cooker with me ?

i would say you can carry pressuer cooker if you cook lots of dhal for sambar and curry. You can buy a rice cooker here for appx 10$ -no need to carry that from India.
