For me, off late, this is true: Maturity is deleting the entire paragraph and texting back "Ok", "True", "Yes", or "I know."
Maturity is “Keeping my mouth shut and only speak when and what is needed“ It would have saved me from zillion problems. p.s: love this thread Rihana and would like to nominate as the finest thread for this month. It is totally my kind of thread..love ❤️
Well said. A right word uttered at the right moment in presence of right people would eventually pay rich dividends later.
My experience has been that the dividends from words not spoken are higher and more valuable. These dividends take the form of mental peace.
Maturity is not to react on little things. Maturity is not to show off or not to post little things/ pics on social media. Maturity is not to waste time, money, energy on un productive things. Maturity is not to argue with fools and not to fight loosing battles. Maturity is to choose your battles wisely. Maturity is to invest your time money energy is only necessary things. Maturity is to understand and set goals and work towards it without anyone's help. Maturity is becoming emotionally independent.
Maturity to me is having empathy and be able to put oneself in others shoes to deal with any situation. maturity is being able to happy with oneself without untoward expectations from anyone be it family or friends.
