Coconut in beijing

    Hi I need to buy coconut . Do they sell these in the local beijing markets. Supermarkets don't seem to have them.

    Veejay,

    Some supermarkets like carrefour, metro and wal mart sell coconut tender as well as other which we use to prepare chutneys. Check with fruit sellers too. I have seen coconut in chaoyang district with fruit sellers as well as in lotte mart. Do some more research you will get it. I hve live in north and east china and everywhere i got coconuts. Only thing is they may not be fresh all the time. Sometimes you may find rotten one too.
