    We had bought one like this for our daughter.I feel it is just for playing and not for regular sewing.

    Hi everyone,

    From the email thread, it looks like a competition between an Usha Janome Stitch Magic and a Singer fashion maker. But which one did you like, which one did you finally buy and what is your feedback?

    Please help. My daughter age 12, is completely different from me and seems to love sewing, embroidery, quilting etc and I don't have a clue. I live near Adyar in Chennai. Are there any classes in the Besant Nagar/Adyar area. I've checked out the local papers but again but no concrete info.

    dear friend,
    for a beginner in stitching,first you should go through domestic ordinary sewing machine in singer.after some time you can get some more.because it is my experience with rotamatic 8 singer machine. all these type of fashion makers are very sensitive,so you first buy a very good new fore-table machine.problematic machines will spoil your stitching mood.so normal is best,and buy another some time later,if you need embroidery stitches.

    Will do! My kid is interested in crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing, painting. She really enjoys making little dresses for her dolls etc. I don't know where she gets the genes from cos all I can sew is buttons.

    I saw your post today. You told One fibre gear in usha allure model. What is it mean? Can you suggest about usha other basic model and singer4228 and 8280? please post your comments.

    which sewing machine to purchase?

    Hi friends,
    actually i need some info regarding sewing machines.i want to purchase one for household stitching and embroidery.does any body have any idea of it.i have searched for reviews of USHA and SINGER but many of them were negative only ,so i am a bit confused abt what to buy.will any of you suggest me abt ,which machine should i purchase so that it would be useful to me:confused2:

    which sewing machine to purchase?

    hi friends,
    regarding the sewing machines,many of our friends has suggested USHA JANOME
    but in that there are some 5 to 6 varieties like FLAIR,ALLURE, etc
    would u please suggest which one is best among them
