Welcome back, CC. I was waiting to hear this news!! Please take your time to try untried ones!! Thanks for the FBs!!
Dear Damini, Thanks. I find that Chinese cooking takes very little time but the results are always sweet!! You are in a "minty mood"???
Lijo, lijo, dear lijo, You missed IL, BUT we all missed you!! I was really wondering about this "missing act" of yours!! Make up for all the lost time with more & more FBs! :biggrin2:
Friends, If I am assured of 10 FBs, I will post my new Vegetable & Dhal masala For any dish, just add it to vegs + tomatoes. The dish is taken care of deliciously!! :tongue It is as useful as the frozen gravies. Today's breakfast:
Hello chitra amma, I was impressed seeing the cut vegetables in your non-electric gadgets thread and bought a julliene peeler for myself, but it is very sharp and im unable to use it. Please give some tips how to use it.
chithmam, just wanted to share. I made pori and also groundnut chikki..i used the oven to roast the groundnuts..even my paagu was in the mw. i am a little down with severe wheeze, so could not concentrate.but the mw and the confidence in using it helped me. (just to say 11 years back, i burnt a plastic microwavable box, when i first thought of crisping the pori's..phew thinking back really makes me feel how far i have come, though there is a long way to cover yet..) kosuru bit : yesterday fil has requested me to make thengai buns and muffin for karthigai instead of the traditional pori. konjam moderna karthigai kondadalam...:rotfl
Re: LRe: Chitvish Recipes - Post your comments here (part 4) Dear C, Please count me for vegetable and dhal masala. My dh, MIL and myself are down with fever and severe bodyache. Cooked dhal, frozen gravy, pepper jeera rasam powder, curry leaves thokku are my savior. Feeling so bitter taste, can't think of a better soup than pepper jeera rasam. I can't imagine what I would have cooked without all these!!
Just the confidence & knowledge to use MW in the right method goes a long way in our daily routine!!I do my venpongal, kichdi etc in MW. Next plan to try bisibela! I think your FIL has "fallen" for your baking expertise!! A real blessing to him in old age in the form of a kind DIL!!
Re: LRe: Chitvish Recipes - Post your comments here (part 4) Get well soon, Radha is all that I can say!! Anyway I am planning this masala powder to be posted in apps.
