    hi madam,

Reading lot of FB's on methi pongal i made it for dinner. It was super with mild sweet taste of coconut milk. I added the diluted second coconut milk while cooking and added the first milk after opening the cooker. wondering where the bitterness of methi went.

    thanks for the recipe

    love

    Dear Mami,

Now please do not [IMG] at me for this fb. I am a green tea fan and yesterday made green tea with mint as per your recipe...added a dash of lime and stored in the fridge. Just now had the same...it was heavenly with the fresh mint flavour... felt like having more and more but kept for Akshu also as she is also a green tea buff like me... [IMG]

    Dear, dear Vids,
    lovely enjoyable FBs!
yes, pappus are a good way of introducing dhal varieties to babies.
Introduce them to all varieties without introducing, your prejudice if any (?) to them!! To your surprise they may even enjoy mildly spicy food!
Remember though extension of you, they are individuals -give them the respect right from the beginning!
I am glad, S by S is so useful to you.All said & done, seeing is believing, here, understanding!
Introduce milkshakes, a wee bit thick, giving by spoon.Go on changing the variety to break the monotony.
Your FBs give me ultimate satisfaction, believe me!!
So, yo have switched roles from a career woman to full-time mommy! good,Vids, God has answered your prayers!
    Love,
    chithra.

dear Vids, My appa,a doctor used to say that our thayir has the best enzymes naurally, besides B12 (?). Like a typical SI completionof a meal, train them with curds as the last course.

    Love,
    Chihra

    AnbuLLa Prethi,
In yesteryears, if something shopbought was very nice, we used to say, i tastes nice like, home-made. Now we are so happy with the reverse!!
    Thanks, Prethi.

SS, you are rapidly progressing in your kitchen encounters!! Cherry cake can be kept outside itself for 3 days,no problem.
You can always make it,now, more confidently for Shiva!
Pumpkin MK is a general favourite!! Make it next time when S's elder brother comes! :)
