Sorry, Pragadha - I seem to have missed your post.
I am glad you are making use of the gadget thread! My FP is
    Philips Food Processor HR7625/70
    Wattage & voltage - 500W, 220-240v, 50HZ
Cost is Rs 4000 - in Viveks they give a mandatory discount of 200...

Keep your eyes open when you go to supermarkets etc.
    Thanks.

    Love,
    Chithra.

Thanks a lot, Mrs.Chithra and two more doubts..

Becoz of microwaving, does the muffin texture will affect while baking ? And, instead of brown sugar in this recipe, can we substitute jaggery too?

    Bye.

    Dear Rama,
MW ing is only to make it soft enough to grate or break.
I think you can try with powdered jaggery.
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Chithra Ma'm,
Sweet Vathakuzhambu & novel tiffin sambar are a big hit. Both are repeats.I tried MW akkaravadisal.Though it tasted good 'paal thirinja madhiri erunthudu'.I don' know what went wrong.Made Mw carrot halwa again.Just one doubt in that , you have mentioned 200 gms of sweetened khoa.As i had only 100 gms i made with that & it turned out ok.If we add 200 gms will it add to volume ,taste & richness.Good that you have posted with sweetened khoa & not unsweetened as the former is widely available.Do post the MW version for this MW beginner .
    Love,
    Damini

    Dear Chitrama,
Prepared Carrot rice for DH dabba and i also had in the morning, the rice tasted very delicious but my vote surely goes for jiffy carrot rice, its more flavourful maybe because we add cinnamon, cardamom, onion???

    Love,

Thanks, SB. Delhi carrot imparts a mild sweetish taste as well and I just love it!!
For thickening, now a days, I substitute melon seeds for cashews wherever possible.
    Love,
    Chithra.
