    Hello Mrs. C

Made 3 in 1 thattai today. It came out really good. It was done jiffy(unlike the usual thattai procedure). Tasted kara mora. It is cold and my people wanted something crunchy and spicy and so made it

My daughter gave a hand in rolling the dough:).

    Thanks a lot.
    Love
    GK

    Dear GK,
Karamora thattai in cold weather! Ideal snack!!
Is not your daughter too young to help you?? Or you believe in "catch them young??"
    Love,

Navarathna p.usili with brussel sprouts and CVVK

    Chithramma,

Our apartment is smelling divine of the vathakuzhambu. The tomato gives a nice colour, taste and your recipe has taken this simple dish to new heights. I added some tender brinjals too since i had very little small onions.

With brussel sprouts pouring here in the markets I put them in p.usili. Waiting for DH to taste and give verdict.

I have one question on PP. If I put the weight on before the steam comes then no whistle comes. Last time too the (bread) peas masala got burnt because i awaited the whistle. Is it a problem with the safety valve? May be tomorrow i should cook some paruppu and see...

Sending (FB) chow chow salad to Mylai.

    Hi Mrs.Chithra,

For the lunch, made keerai poriyal alongwith your latest release from your kitchen to IL, chow chow salad with little modifications like instead of nuts, added walnuts/badham and additionally, put raisins & pomegranate. Simply great and so healthy to taste with rice.

Many thanks for sharing. Pls do continue it, whenever possible.

    Rama.

    Hello Mami,
Firstly congratulations on your GD's wedding. Here's wishing Thanu and Ajit all the happiness in the world.

Made Apple paratha and malai kofta yday. The paratha was so awesome. While roasting the wheat flour itself there was so much aroma, have never seen paratha dough itself smell so good :D

Malai kofta was terrific. One of our all time favorites and I dint try it all along coz it was making me too guilty. Now I felt guilty of not trying it ;-) Yummy and creamy. The combo was super.

    Cheers,
    Nithya

    Dear Vidu,
FYI, I use Magic Bullet to powder for such rasams! The kutti mixi needs a minimum amount to powder finr; but MB powders minimum amount very fine!!
Yes, in the course of the day, I will show the onion-slicing in chips kattai & give a link in the gadgets thread, relevantly.
    Love,
    Chithra.
