    Dearest Chith,

I have a long list of FB pending to be sent to you.

    1. I tried all the Andhra pappus, Methi Pappu, tomato pappu and not to be left behind, Mukkala Pappu. Each one of them was relished by all of us, never knew that "thaalichufying" garlic and onions will bring out the flavor so well. Methi and Brinjals are all time favorites of mine, so relished it very well.

    2. Tried Carrot methi sabji with home grown methi, again brought out methi's flavor so well, it goes so well with rotis as well as rasam saadam.

    3. Made Jain pumpkin bread kofta, substituted bread koftas with sweet peas, but the gravy was soo rich without the presence of onions or garlic.

    4. I wanted to be the first one to give FB for Oats BB, but other ILites beat me to it. Made Oats BB, also wanted to try with godumai ravai, it was equally good. M could not believe it wasn't rice. He still is of the opinion I tricked him.

    5. Among sweets, stuck to dates halwa. Still trying to lose my pregnancy weight you see

My daily menu is always from your recipes, since they are very basic and I am rushed most of the times, I am not patient enough to type them. Sorry!!

    Thankss sooooooo much!!

    Love
    Vidya

What a handy dosa or oothappam?

Atlast, had both rava & cucumber in my hand, Mrs.C. So, worked out with cucumber rava uttappam, guess that I am the lastttttt one to try this recipe. Very nice and rava's crunchiness & flavor attracted me well.

Recipes like godhumai urad dosa, godhumai rava dosa are all really helpful and they have become a part of our lives like idlies & dosas!!!

    Sincere thanks,

    Rama.

    Dear Chith,

Today's dinner was oats bisibele bath and vegetable soup with diifferent types of noodles. The bisibele bath was too good. I guess we can add some veggies to it if we want, right?

    Dear Vids,
Thanks for the entire series of FBs or FBs in a serial?? :)
Last evening I tried methi-tomato chutney, my sondha sahithyam. I grope for a better word than "out of the world" !! With home-grown methi, it will be just superb!!
My imagination seems to work overtime & I have less patience to put in W document than trying them & gobbling them.
Today I tried jiffy cheese pakora. Next in my agenda is mock cheese pakora, spoon halwa (enga ooru special) & pasiparuppu puttu curry!
An ILite who has promised to visit me on Sat may be the victim of my spoon halwa!!
As the twins grow up, your weight will come down, running behind them!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

Re: What a handy dosa or oothappam?

    Dear Rama,
I think, I will request you to compile a list of health recipes-rice barred, from my recipe index!!
Yes, it has an intriguing taste with a trace of sweetness.
    Thanks, Rama.
    Love,
    Chithra.
