    Yet another Tip

    Hi friends:

One of the foolproof methods that I follow to peel CV is soak the CV in hot water for about 3 mins and then plunge them in cold water and then cut the tips. THis method doesnt involve any tears Kamla!! Happy CVVK!!

    CVVK again

    Dear Chithra,
Yesterday's lunch was CVVK and mampazham, MW vazahikai thoran, milagu rasam and vendaikai. CVVK was superb as usual, thoran also good. The beauty is the cooking was over in a jiffy and so many dishes were there. I made double the recipe of CVVK. Hubby was unwell with stomach upset, some infection and did not eat lunch (the previous day also he had not taken dinner). He was better by night. You know, he ate CVVK rice in the night, says he couldn't suppress his temptation. Today he is alright.
So, what to say, other than thank you.
I liked it with curd rice more than with plain rice. Left over is given to Aravindh for lunch to school.
    With warm wishes,
    varloo

    Thankyou, Varloo !

    C V V K has scored the highest marks, so far !
    Thanks for the feedback.
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Easy, Lakshmi, relax !

Please remember, we learn through mistakes !
The consistency may not have been right, cooking time not sufficient, soda a little on the higher side - these are all the inferences, I can make. It is very difficult to predict from here!
Cheer up, forget the word " disaster".
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Some more FB's

    Dear Mrs CV,
Prepared these dishes for the past few days. Keerai mulagootal with chappathi. Simply superb. The combo was fantastic. Was reluctant in the beginning, not sure if it will go well. But results were superb!
Made bread with vegetable cream. Wanted to make something in a jiffy last night, had to take the kids to pool, but all done in half hour after we came back. The kids really loved it.
Today for lunch prepared VenPongal with guess what cvvk. Tasted very delicious. Pongal was like kovil pongal. We loved it. So sorry for the essay. But got carried away while writing. Thanks for everything and have a wonderful weekend.

    Love,

Longer still, essays are welcome, Radhe !

    Thanks for the F B s.
I always keep cubed & boiled vegetables ( which includes corn also ) in the freezer. So, vegetable cream becomes a jiffy dish, if there is bread at home. It is a filling combination also.
    Next try C V V K with kozakkattai & Arisi upma - you will love it !
There is some C V V K in the fridge - you have tempted me to make venpongal for dinner, Radhe !
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.
