    Dear Nithya,
Yes, vazaipoo is a "dearie" !! I have given a vadai with it. I wonder whether you noticed it all.
It is one of the most mouth-melting vadais!!
There is another V vadai which I plan to post. I have a weakness for VP!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Latha, the "new athai",
It does not matter if the cream is not very thick. It has to be kneaded anyway! Curds may not be a good substitute!!
Sharp memory power can be a draw-back also, Latha!!In our younger days "netru" was so prevalent, which, I think developed memory power in us!!
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Lats,

No worries.. use ricotta cheese... just melt them to a soft dough.. it will turn lightly pink.. its as good as khoa.. Or if you get thickened cream.. mix that with milk powder and just microwave it to the right consistency..

    Dear Chithra,
made samosa chole (actually only chole, no samosa) for lunch box along with phulkas. Yes, you guessed it- I used the food processor for kneading atta and chopping onions and tomatoes.Actually, the phulkas very done the last, it was just so easy with minimum planning too. And the first time I made samosa chole, R was not so enthu. But today he had a good share for breakfast. As I did not have phulkas, I made set dosai to go along with it (what a combination! I can see you wondering).

    Dear Varloo,
    Thanks - lovely FB.
Yes, very often, we end up with funny combinations for ourselves. We all have to be the "tyagis" - no problem!! We love to feed our family first!
I have not seen scrapers here - but similar ladles for scraping are in Lifestyle etc.
    Love,
    Chithra.
