These two are sounding like Fox News talking points. I don’t think they are unbiased like you claim they are. If anything, everything they say is on Fox(which I also read daily)

The GA senators made a campaign promise. I expected both to be vocal about this. So far, nothing. 2000 is 2000 not 1400 according to me.

Why the one time payment? I hope there is a recurrent payment plan. I don’t see how a one time check can solve this issue.

The people in GA were stoked about the $2000 checks. They better have a good answer for this. Nobody told them it was 600 + 1400.

$2000 total is fair. If they have to give out $2000 on top of $600 then we are veering into MGR/Karunanidhi-right before the elections-territory. :grinning:

When we were calling GA voters we were given the talking points. 2000 was promised to the people. We were not made aware that it includes the 600 already sent by the previous administration. Even the organizers didn’t know about it. The two senators didn’t know about it. What the previous admin did isn’t a part of the Osoff/Warnock campaign promise.

They could have called it a 1400 check. Biden’s portion of the money is only 1400.

Warnock and Osoff are getting thrown under the bus.

My favorite thing about the new administration is The Oval Pawffice of the DOTUS’ Champ and Major Biden and the COTUS. The two DOTUS’ have taken their campaign promises seriously. They have started on their many resPAWnsibilities and have already added their first cabinet member. Buddy has been nominated as the Secretary of Blankies!

All of that will come out at the senate trial.
Now we have a new buffoon in charge. He is already doing what would get high ratings for the media businesses. There is bound to be a lot more.
When the elections in 2022 are lost big time, he can still pretend that it is just the routine stuff, and go on to earn his presidential pension.
