What happens if a president-elect dies before inauguration? ... before inauguration day on Jan. 20, there are still a few more hoops for Joe Biden to jump through before taking office: the official electoral college vote on Dec. 14, followed by the congressional certification of that vote on Jan. 6. It may seem morbid, but given that Biden, at 77, <...>the oldest president-elect in history and <...> in the midst of a pandemic, it’s worth clarifying what would happen if he dies before taking office. I want to go take a long nap and wake up only at noon EST on Jan 20th.
Confronted with the propensity for great gaffs, that "long nap" was the electioneering tactic of Biden-handlers which helped the twosome squeak through to a win. Trump had also been harping on the narrative that "they" would keep Biden in a "home" and run the country down to Venezuela.
Let them protest, its part of their denial phase. The verdict is clear , Biden won. But these 'protesters' want to waste everyone's time and cause annoyance to everyone - led ofcourse by their "leader".
Dear @Laks09 , you are so sweet! I was just telling DH that we need to send all good wishes and vibes his way Me too asking for a favor from the lord almighty!
