    Hey guys,

One great doubt. When we were in India we are not used for these cereals. But after coming here that too now only I am buying cereals and my daughter likes this honey bunch very much. Is it good to add milk without boiling to these cereals or should I have to boil it littlebit. pl clarify this.

    with warm wishes
    Lakshmi

    Re: Cereals

    Hi,
Always add warm milk to the cereals.
Cold milk takes more time to make cereals soft.
Again small kids might get cold.
SOme cereals needs hot water/hot milk (Oat cereals).
    Try different things.

    Re: Cereals

    Dear friend:
I think that if you can had warm milk is better. But what i really wanted to add to the other reply is that we should be carefull because these cereal always have too much sugar and kids get addicted to them and later they don't want anything else. Many friends of mine regret that since their kids don't accept toast, pancake, muffins, other cerels or indian options.
So, in my case, for example, i don't give those american cereals many days and i try to give other things in betwin. Also look for the ones with less sugar. Oats, Nestum, almond ones...
    Regards

I know that giving too much lays or salty potato chips brings salt addiction in children. they always need extra salt. But this is a new info.thanks anamika for the sugar info.
