Thanks for the response. The problem here is that - When she put down her papers, her manager worked with the other unit to get her into the desired team. But now, she has realised that the team is having unrealistic expectation from her. So, if she will put down again, the previous manager will be really pissed and dont knw what action he may take as he had high level meetings to get her into this role.

Then ask ur friend to discuss this issue with her ex-manager & see what he will suggest.

Ask your friend to discuss with ex-manager to let him know that expectations of new team is way beyond her skill level. If she is a beginner, she can not be an architect. She should have declined the project the moment she realized the expectations.

Managers are rated down by IT companies if they had too many resignations under them. So, ask her to take advice from ex-manager to handle her situation. He may be able to help more.
