    Hair care:

Dandruff, poor nutrition, stress and hormonal imbalances are some reasons that lead to hair fall.

Home remedy: Mix one tsp castor oil and two tsps pure coconut oil.

Heat the mixture and apply it on your hair and scalp, twice a week.

    Avoid a vigorous head massage.

Massage your scalp gently in small circular motions, using your fingertips.

Eat a small bowl of sprouts daily.

Add fruits, veggies, soyabean and curd to your diet.

    Strengthen your roots:

Mix the milk of half a coconut and the juice of half a lime.
Massage the mixture into your scalp.
Leave it on for four hours, and rinse with a mild shampoo.

OR, mix crushed Hibiscus leaves with one tbsp crushed fenugreek seeds.
Apply the paste on your scalp, and rinse after five hours.

    Hair loss:
Heat pure coconut oil or almond oil, and apply it on your hair once a week.
    Avoid a vigorous head massage.

Weekly henna treatments will help add body to your hair, and improve its texture.
Add 4 tsps lemon juice, four tsps coffee, two raw eggs and enough curd to henna powder, mixing it into a thick paste.
Apply it on your hair, and rinse after an hour.

    To avoid split ends:

    Avoid
using rubber bands. If you must, use cloth-coated ones.
    Trim your hair regularly.
Use a moisture-based conditioner; apply it on the ends of your hair.
Do not brush your hair roughly.

Conditioner for dry hair: Mix one tsp aamla oil, one tsp castor oil, one tsp vinegar, one tsp glycerine and one tsp conditioner.
Apply it on the ends of your hair.
Leave it on for 20 minutes, and rinse.

    For Dandruff :

Treat dandruff: Mix one tsp hot castor oil, one tsp coconut oil and one tsp til oil.
Massage your scalp with this solution. Leave it on for half an hour, and rinse.
Follow this routine twice a week.

Dandruff cleanser: Soak 2 tsps fenugreek (methi) seeds in water, overnight.
The next morning, grind the seeds and apply the paste on your head.
Leave it on for half an hour, and rinse with soapnut (reetha), Shikakai or a herbal shampoo.
Follow this routine twice a week.
