there are many ways of doing the garments business. you can go buy materials from the wholesale market, stitch and then sell to retailers in your area or to customers directly or both. usually the retailers will give cash only after selling them. customers might give cash immediately or look for installments. in the beginning don't invest heavily. do trial runs and assess the market. then if it is good do better. or else your money will get stuck. even before buying do go around to the retail clothes showroom and ask them would they be interested to sell your items. they might ask for pictures/albums. depeding on the response you proceed. if the success rate is good you can look to buy in bulk from manufacturers. the other evergreen business of all times even in recessions is catering. you can deliver to homes and corporate offices nearby. the strategy explained above is good for both businesses. all the best.
