Try it wit Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. It is really good for cleaning anything.

    Follow the instructions.

    Good luck.

Yeah it is black mold. If it is too much to clean you can throw off and get a new one.

try following this, when ever you clean your tub + tiles, give a rub on the shower curtain with any (bathing/ washing detergent)/soap foam / bleach . this way you wont see such molds or soap scum settling on the curtains. and when you do it regularly, its less maintenance.

    Pandusk,

Just get Tilex mold and mildew remover from Walmart/Target and spray it on the tub as well as the shower curtain before you go to bed in the night. No scrubbing/cleaning necessary. When you wake up in the morning, those mold would have vanished. This will work 100% on the tubs and on my $1 shower curtains from Dollar shop. I don't know about the nature of your shower curtain. Hope this helps!

P.S: This product contains bleach and will smell like bleach. So handle it with caution...

I usually put the curtain outside the tub and let it dry completely - spread it completely so it dries properly and have never seen mold on the curtain. Mold grows only when there is enough moisture so let it dry completely after bath. Tilex works great on bath tubs and tiles, never used on the curtain itself.

    Hi,

the black spots come despite being careful. I recently tried this with baking soda and it removed quite well. make a paste with baking soda and water. it'll not be a smooth paste. rub this mixture over the black spot. leave it overnight. next day wash thoroughly. repeat few times depending on the thickness of the spot.

Always use a liner with a shower curtain. You can keep the curtain outside the tub and the liner inside the tub. Liners are pretty inexpensive and can be changed every couple of months... this saves a lot grief in cleaning a expensive shower curtain...
