hi ilites.can you suggest about a present for my son who will be 2 this month something that will help his confidence .with winter approaching he is going to restricted indoors.is a bicycle a safe option ?
hi humera, IF you are thinking of a bicycle. do you have a big space indoors for your son to use the cycle without hitting anything. then go ahead. otherwise pick up some lego blocks...to keep him engaged. Wishing your son a very happy and wonderful birthday.God bless him.
Hi Humera, If he is going to be indoors then instead of a bicycle you can buy him puzzles, power rangers related stuff if he can understand and enjoy it or a keyboard which will suit his age. CDS or DVDs of kids movies, stories so that he will learn from it also depending on what he likes will be another option I can think of . Wishing your little boy a very happy birthday.
dear ILites i think you are right about withholding the bicycle.i think i will get him a number of little gifts a keyboard will be nice. Do you think i should buy his little sister something on his day or not .will there be any sibling rivalry in either case
Hi, You could give talking books, popup books, colouring books etc. When it comes to toys, please avoid guns etc. They are not advisable for kids of any age group. If you are getting him puzzles make sure your kid doesnot put any pieces in his mouth. But they are also a good option for a two year old to improve analytical skill.
Hi Humera, Buy his little sister a pull along toy like a duck or wagon so that she will be equally enthusiastic about her brother's birthday, other than that I think you can buy her clothes. Touch and feel books are also a good buy for your younger one. She is too young to realise sibling rivalry but will be thrilled to be pampered.
Dear humera, Yes. you should definitely get her something. not too grand to make your son feel overshadowed......though both are young right now.... But whatever you buy take care it is not harmful that is it is non toxic. and also be careful of choking hazard......
dear ladies thnkyou for your valuable suggestions esp the one about the pull along toy for the littlt sister now that she is learning to walk on her own.i have always been particular about the safety of toys .toys or toy parts that are less than 2_3 inches or sharp and pointed are an absolute no neither shall i allow any guns or tanks .however i do want to focus his energy on some constructive and safe activities as he is a very very naughty little boy who invariably ends up hurting himself or his little sister. Thankyou for wishing my son a good birthday.i call him amy and his b day is on 28 oct. Love, humera
