    Hi

Social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook may have

revolutionised the way we stay in touch, but your page could be an open

    invitation to identity thieves.

People are so excited about making friends that they are revealing things they

shouldn't. They post vital security details such as their date of birth, where

they were born, the name of their first school and in some cases, even

    their mother's maiden name.

These are some of the most typical answers to online banking security

questions and a gift to fraudsters..... So try to leave out the details.

    bye

    Thanks Huma for the information.
Even the school and college students are actively participating in these online friendship site, without knowing the risks behind it.
I will surely let my children know it !
