Mom and aunt are in seventies but active. They are coming for a month to the us .We are planning for some vacation and what are the best places to take or enjoy? Some ideas.. universal studies/ Miami/ key west Alaskan cruise Any other cruise Or any place in USA which elders will enjoy please give ideas
1) Kennedy Space Center 2) Key West 3) Universal Studio 4) New York 5) Niagara Falls The first 3 are towards Florida and can be finished in one trip. I assume they can take the heat of Florida. The last two has to be done by another trip. Since they are only coming for a month, you should plan 5 days trip to Florida and 2 days trip to New York and Niagara Falls.
@anika987, If you are interested in cruises, please look for 4-5 days cruises from the nearest port city so that the ship will not journey for a long time. Exposing seniors to the ship conditions for too long is not advisable. Ships are vulnerable for infections as well as they may be subjected to sea sickness.
Is las vegas worth including in the itinerary? Mom & aunt in their Seventies can try their luck playing betting games! What about a day in Disney land? Is there any Natural history museum nearby? Is niagra waterfalls far off? Bi Bird sanctuary - Everglade national park florida ? Exposure to saltish air for long hours must be avoided by elders from india. Keep insurance papers clear and intact. Wish you happy sight seeing and rewarding experience with mom & aunt. God Bless
@Viswamitra sir, how would the weather in Florida be in the 2nd half of the month? Do you have hurricanes and rains then?
@anika987 Just take them to Vegas. Stay at Wynn. Have them take it easy, walk around, enjoy the sumptuous buffets, take in all the sights and have fun at their own pace. Take them to a couple of shows there and maybe a day trip to Grand Canyon...it will be a nice relaxing break instead of been-there-done-that hectic Odyssey
