Which of the letters in tamil alphabet including the letters of Sanskrit origin qualify for the BEST Award.


க, ம, ப, வ, ல, வ, ர, சetc look too simple.
ஜஸஷஹseries look complicated
அ, ஆ, இ, உ, ஊ, ங, ள, look entwined

ஐஜ.. These two look like idly steamers and if lying down like idly plates.
ஒஓஔறthese look overburdened, upper bodies like a strong ox

ன, ண, ஊlook like slow moving caterpillars
ப, ஈ, ட, ஏ, ர, are like match sticks arranged

That leaves the beautiful, feminine looking…த and ழ as the final contestants. Both look beautiful in shape and writing, very delicate and agile.. We pronounce them delicately and write them with less pressure on the pen. They end with a balancing tail for beauty like a bird’s tail.

Among these two I would choose ழ finally for its sound and pronunciation. ழ is exclusive to Tamizh and Malayalam languages as both had a common linguistic origin.

Compared to ழ, த has a simpler pronunciation and is present in all other languages.

Here த loses to ழ.


So ழ wins & is the BEST champion.
