yes indigo is from plant in india and middle east so dont worry its natural
thanx for confirming,i had a doubt,my mother has totalwhite hair,she uses dye.can she use this blackhenna?will the hair turn black as a dye works?:confused2:
indigo gives dark color in a blue shade, for people completely white is better to use before red henna and then indigo, in order to have a perfect dye and cover all white hair.

Warning: Indigo is called Black henna here in Italy but I dont'know in other countries read this article The Henna Page - PPD Black Henna, before asking black henna, ask always Indigo is more safe.

In hindi indigo is called neel powder and in tamil its called avuri so be sure to ask for this if you say kala mehandi itll proabably be not natural.
Where to get 'Avuri' in Tamilnadu? Please let me know.

Will you be able to tell me where did you get this Indigo powder from.
I forgot to tell you that i want to know where i can find this in U.S. I buy my henna powder from Indian stores(Reshma Brand). I can get it from India too. Pls. also lemme know where i can get it in India and also what brand..
I mix Henna powder [ 1 packet] with Tea dicoction,Half lemon juice,half ordinary white vinegar.Mix well and leave it for 6-7 hours and then use it.
I keep it in ordinary steel vessel only.
The color comes out beautifully.
