Hi Ladies I am from Kerala and I have many Calcutta sarees in my collection. They are awesome:thumbsup except for the fact that you can't get the exact matching in blouse. My aunt is going to Calcutta next week. So I wanted to get a silk saree. Now my question is, what is the price range of calcutta/bengal silk sarees? 5-6 years ago, I got a silk saree which I think is Baluchari from a sadiwala (2k, a much hiked price possibly) who visits us every year. A baby pink saree with silvery white borders and designs. It is shiny and thick. I am not sure if its Odissi. What are bengal silk sarees like? What is the starting price range? :bonkAre there any specific names for them? PLs help asap.
