    Dark Circles

This tip again is by the beautician Shahnaz Hussain,Courtesy - The Hindu Metro Plus

To get rid of dark circles under the eyes, in spite of having a good sleep, you can mix cucumber juice and lemon juice in equal quantities and apply it daily.

Wash it off after 15 minutes. This treatment is to be followed daily for at least two months to get results.

    dull skin

    Hi vasti,

my sister's face is very fair and smooth but her body skin is very dull, dry and dark. none of the moisturers work for her except glycerin mixed with rosewater. she is using gramflour paste instead of soap. could u suggest some remedies to improve the skin complexion and smoothness.

Hi Reena. Your sister can use baby oil for application after bath on her bosy. I know it works well for prople with very dry skin. It is important to apply the oil in the bath itself..like when the body is slightly damp (not wet). She can use johnson& johnson's baby oil. Im sure this will work..if not, we ll find some other way!!
    regards

All flowers to be dried in shade…..

    Chana dhall 1/4kg…

Powdered and mixed put it in a airtight tin to retain the aroma of dried

Flowers..while using for oil bath need to add some usilanthazhai

Available in the market ready made…..to help clean easier…

    HERBAL OIL::::::

    Coconut oil…1/2 kg.

    Karisilanganni leaves..one bunch

    Ponnnanganni leaves…one bunch

    Curry leaves..karuveppailai…one bunch

    Manathankkali leaves one bunch

    Tulasi…one handful

    Amla or triphala powder…1 tablespoon

Sprouted fenugreek[vendiyam] or soaked over night 2 tablespoon

    Aloe vera…skinned a medium piece…

2 methods to this…the first one is..

Get the juice of all the leaves and add triphala powder, fenugreek

Paste…..add to the oil and leave it under the sun for 2 days

Keep on low fire..till the residue is like a paste..

This will last for a month…if the residue is like a sand then

Oil is ok for more than a month….

    Add rose oil…2tsp

Sandal oil 2 tsp these r just for aroma and optional..

Filter through a muslin cloth after two days….

    ……………………………………………………..

    2nd method…..

Grind all the leaves to a paste…

Heat oil in a kadai then put off the fire other wise it will boil over

Add paste slowly then again put on a low fire till u get a paste like

    Residue filter after 2days

    1. always prepare oil in small quantity for the freshness..

    2. add two tablespoon of castoroil and 2tablespoon of olive oil

    3. you may add til oil nallennai to the residue after filtering ..

to use it as bath oil massage oil just reheat a little for all the

    above mentioned purposes….filter after 2days…so u get

a very clear oil for all ur use….

    Dear Sundari

Thank you for three wonderful methods. Also liked the word 'neeradal powder'.
I think many persons may have missed this post, it took me sometime to find it.One more question- is it possible to buy this neeradal powder somewhere?

Thanks for the effort. Such methods are hard for us to get.

    warm regards
