Me neither. As it is, I can't watch any sad/emotional films. And this one looks all set to make us cry from the first shot I guess. Atharva looks like the second half-Sethu :spinMe no like it :thumbsdown
Sof N Ranchu, Even I dont like dark movies... But I feel Bala is a honest person. He chooses to show the lives of underprivileged ones. He is thoughtful. But I do not like his sadistic climax n endings :-( I appreciate Bala for choosing such subjects to glamour and skin show I watch movies for entertainment. But I would not discourage eccentric people like Bala who make heavy movies just to create awareness.
Vivek in Vaali: Azhaga irukiraal-nu kaaga, oru kulappathai kadhalikka mudiyumma? (You can't fall in love with a confused person for the mere reason that she's pretty, no?) Anu, I have no issues with Bala's honesty in films. But he does tend to go overboard with his "touch of realism"- most of the time. *Bala padamna, kandippa climax-la sanggu udura scene irukumnu ellarukum theriyum. Apparum enna madhiri emotional parties ellam eppadi kannu kasukkama padam paakurathu?* Just take a look at Adharva in the last pic at post # 4. I don't even know if he's "dead" in that scene, but he sure looks close to being one...sigh...I give up. The stills themselves are too depressing. Watching the movie will surely make me to become another Sethu, definitely! (**There's always a "death" scene in each and every film of his. So how do emotional people like me are supposed to watch these films without crying??)
