    Hi madam,

Thanks as suggested with the furit salad i added the tomato sweet pachadi which subsided the flavour to an extent.

    Dear Chitra

Thank you for ur reply. As i was busy, took some time to search. I found 4 -5 recipes of toasted breads. Will try them. Really helped me a lot.

    Thank you.

    Hi Mami,

For Oats Idli...is there any substitute for Eno fruit salt?
    I doubt its availability here...
By the way, why is it used? Can it be omitted.

    Thanx

    Dear Saraswathi,
You can use half the amount of cooking soda in place of fruit salt. It is mainly to give a porous, spongy texture to the idli.

    Chithra.

After a good dose of aval, its oats' turn for my DH :queen.

By the way..did I tell u ...I made puliaval couple of days back....
since u wrote that some do it with rasam...I used little of jeera powder, dhaniya powder and pepper powder ...to get the rasam effect:biggrin2:.
    It was good.

    Thanx

    Dear Beesidhu,
    First,I am a strict vegetarian.
I have not given curry paste, since I do not know. Please go through my Jiffy thread - I have given a masala gravy paste, which you may find uuseful for any gravy.
    Love,
    Chithra.
