    My dear Kate !

I have posted Mushroom soup & Dahi mushroom on toast.
I don't use soya at all in my cooking - they are allergic to me, rather, I am allergic to them. Sorry on this point.
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Chocalacious cake

    Hello Chithra,
With your recipe printout in hand, I ventured into the art of making cake. i baked Eggless Chocolate cake and it came out so yummy. We all of us had a wonderful dinner with Pizza and cake.
My kids want more chocolate cakes especially the rich black forest. How do we make chocolate syrup and soak the cake in it? How to do icing and decorate the cake with creamy swirlls like we get in McRennet?
Please take your time to post some chocolate recipes.

Long time, Laxmi, no see ?

Congratulations on your maiden baking venture !
Chocolate syrup is best bought ready. To make swirls, you have to learn icing. I will look out for some more chocolate recipes.
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    My dear Mohana !

If it is fresh yeast, it will double in one hour.
If it is dry yeast, it make take a little longer. But always ( like soda) buy fresh stocks every month. Old stocks can give disastrous results.
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Dear Mohana,

For chineese noodles I used the maggi ones in Indian stores. They sell the chow mein variety which uses only wheat. You can also try in Wegmans if you have the store in your place they sell Hakka brand. Hope this helps.
    Love,
