    Do you wear short-sleeve tops.

I am embarrassed to wear short-sleeve tops.

I cringe if someone touches the top part of my bare arms.

In summer I wear quarter sleeve.

I wish to wear saree. Only body suits available are long-sleeve (which is too long for summer) and short sleeve (which I am embarrassed by)

Please help. Can I shorten long-sleeve body suits to three quarter arm length.

Here is long-sleeve body suit, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081143GF...colid=5OM93HIBN2OS&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

I wear a lot of sleeveless. I like it, may be since I always wore it growing up.

I am in US and no people do not want to touch or gawk,

Have you seen how much cleavage some women show- on TV or in real life? No one gawks or tries to touch.

It is okay to expose arms. I do not wear plunging neckline- there I am conservative.

Even in India n in many other countries, it’s very easy to spot many women in sleeveless. They wear it comfortably. Have never heard about gawking or wanting to touch just due to this.

Have you heard or experienced something like that ? N where ?

Never experienced gawking while wearing sleeveless.
If you are not comfortable wearing sleeveless then either you can try cap sleeves or petal sleeves.

:hello: I assume needle and thread is not prerogative of only either men or women. It is common in haberdashery.
    2. I assume the question relevant to either folk.
    3. Answer to OP question DEPENDS ON variety of factors such as geography, tropical or winter or summer, trend, altitude, and so on. Plus it is said when one is in Rome, he or she should act as Roman.

    4. On behalf of menfolk, I wish to state the following.
    • Body builders like to project themselves in sleeveless vests.
    • Men to office not wear dress to kill but for comfort and trendy. Priests in church cover neck to foot. Hindu priests bear chested with lose angavastram either trend around waist or covered over shoulders.
    • Soldiers of yore, with bear arms ..scantily dressed with metal shields
Cine hero heroines in shoots on verdant high altitudes - duets picturisation presents a contrast - in shivering cold, hero wears full suit while his heroine wear georgette saree bear arms not even cardigans . A mixed trend.
Men dress do invite attention. Many commercial ads in tv presents men that way.
Just for laugh I posted here. No offence or irreverence meant.
    Thanks and Regards.

I am also in USA and feel embarrassed for these ladies.

And have you seen lady news commentators. They are told to dress like this for viewership, most likely.

I am in big city in USA. Once or twice someone tried to touch my bare arm. Now creepy old guy is far away.

    Oh Dear!

I saw a beautiful salwar suit, but it was sleeveless (came with dupatta though). Something to think about ....

Petal sleeves? Are they like bell sleeves? Sounds so pretty!
